Dragon’s Dogma 2 Achieves 3 Million Sales

Dragon’s Dogma 2, which debuted on March 7th, has seen significant success, reaching a new sales milestone. Through a recent announcement on X (Twitter), Capcom revealed that the game has surpassed 3 million sales globally. This announcement was accompanied by a message from Hideaki Itsuno expressing gratitude to players for their trust.

Despite encountering several controversies, particularly surrounding microtransactions upon its release, Dragon’s Dogma 2 continues to attract a substantial player base, leading to a steady increase in sales. The game faced criticism for its limited fast travel system and the encouragement of players to utilize microtransactions to access it.

However, these controversies now appear to be in the past, as the game has achieved excellent sales figures. Additionally, it received a commendable score of 86 on Metacritic, though player reviews were more mixed, averaging at 6.3.
