Warner Bros is currently developing a Director’s Cut version for Hogwarts Legacy, with both Avalanche and Rocksteady Studios (known for Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League) involved in the development.
The information comes from Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, who recently discussed with several individuals from Rocksteady. The conversation initially revolved around the significant failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which allowed him to learn more about the studio’s projects. He discovered that the studio was awaiting approval to start a new solo project but was primarily working on Hogwarts Legacy: Director’s Cut.
Acknowledging their challenges and staffing shortages, the studio is actively seeking to revitalize itself by participating in this new project alongside Avalanche.
However, the journalist did not provide any further information on the scope and content that this new version might offer.
